Over 12 years’ experience in large scale projects in the middle east – here’s a brief explanation of my experience:
I originally joined ALEC in the UAE in 2007 as a site engineer, moving my way up the ladder and proving myself and my capabilities across many iconic projects to finally be leading a construction team as a project manager in Oman, Qatar and finally in my home country Ethiopia.
The Contracts that I have been an integral team member of whilst with Alec include the following:
Ø The recently completed renovation of the Ethiopian Prime Minister office.
Ø The recently completed renovation of the Eagle Hills Sales Center in La Gare, Addis Ababa.
Ø Construction of the 5-star BVLGARI Resort Hotel & Marina Village, in Dubai.
Ø Construction of one of the biggest Mall - Doha Festival City, in Qatar.
Ø Construction of the 5-star Jabal Al Akhdar Anantara Hotel Resort & Spa, in Oman.
Ø Construction of Grand Mosque – Jame Noor Al Deen Al Salmy, in Oman.
Ø Fit out works in the Development of Muscat International Airport – Muscat, Oman.

Job Description: Responsible for the completion and delivery of the renovation of the Ethiopian Prime Minister’s office – by being the complete local support for Alec in Ethiopia from procurement to execution, in addition managed the renovation of the Sales Center in La Gare.
